Puncak Alam is served by a mix of small independent counters and one or two branches of larger Klang Valley repair chains. The practical consequence for you is that stock varies enormously. A shop that can swap an iPhone screen the same afternoon may need two days to source a display for a mid-range Vivo or Realme, simply because it does not keep that panel on the shelf. Ask what grade of part is going in. For screens especially, the gap between an original service-pack display, a quality OEM panel and a cheap aftermarket copy is large — in brightness, in touch response, and in how long it survives. A shop that names the grade openly and prices accordingly is being straight with you. A shop that only quotes one number and will not discuss grade is worth a second question.
Ask how long the warranty runs and what voids it. Most independent shops in this area offer a limited warranty on the part and the labour, commonly measured in months rather than years, and almost all of them void it if the device is subsequently opened elsewhere or shows fresh liquid damage. Get the terms in writing on the receipt.
Finally, back up if the phone still powers on, and remove your SIM and memory card. Repairs occasionally require a factory reset, and the shop is not responsible for data you did not save.
Several of the listed shops run to around 21:00 or 22:00 daily, which covers most after-work visits. Hours change during Ramadan and public holidays, and one listed shop takes a Friday afternoon break, so check the hours line on the card and confirm by WhatsApp if you are arriving close to closing.
